Drew Trapp has been a lover of music since his childhood and surrounded himself with opportunities to learn, write, and perform music for more than 15 years. Throughout this experience he had the chance to study, work, and collaborate with a variety of producers, lyricists, songwriters, vocal instructors, and more.

Drew has worked with well-known artists on mainstream projects but also has a passion for connecting and working to develop independent projects with up and coming talent/newcomers. A few of his credits include the title track on former A-Teens Member and Supermodel, Marie Serneholt’s CD, and hit single “The Coffee Song” performed by Tuesday (Karolina Dahlman), former Swedish Grammy award winner.  

He has co-written for several projects with world re-renown producer/writer Jorgen Elofsson (credits include “Stronger“ and “A Moment Like This” by Kelly Clarkson, “Sometimes” and “Crazy” by Britney Spears, …etc).  Throughout Drew’s music career, he has also worked with Jael of Lunik (co-writer of Delerium’s “After All”), European pop star Meja (singer of duet “Private Emotions” with Ricky Martin), and artist Georgi (opened for Ashlee Simpson and Ryan Cabrera).    

Drew has been writing for many different artists in various styles including pop, rock, country, and r&b.  As an artist himself, he has performed in various countries and for companies such as Kiss My Face (www.kissmyface.com).    

Drew was a regular cast member for three years on the national television show MTV Hits, a show where teens talk about pop culture.  Also, he has been a guest on various MTV shows, and several other MTVU television shows.  Television credits also include Saturday Night Live with host Renée Zellweger, and numerous commercials. 

To compliment his experience and education in the music industry, Drew has worked and co-written with Terry Cox (credits include songs by Vanessa Williams, Popstars, Grover Washington Jr…etc), for the past few years. She continually mentors him teaching him the many aspects of the music industry.  

Drew graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelors of Science Degree from New York University’s business school in spring 2005.  His degree is in Marketing and International Business, with a concentration in Entertainment, Media, and Technology, with a minor in Journalism and Mass Communications. Drew currently resides in Miami.
